My friend and I had a fantastic time on the Tivua Island Cruise. First it started in the morning on a nice boat reminiscent of a pirate ship. Not all the sails were up but it was still nice. On the way the crew sang songs with their guitars, gave us a morning tea of fruit bread and tea and coffee and we all tried kava. We then arrived at Tivua or Mystery Island as the sign on the island said where we did scuba diving with local Fijians as beginners and still went to a depth of 6 meters! I was scared at first but our guides were very supportive and stayed right next to me the whole time in case I needed to go up. We saw lots and lots of tropical fish, sea cucumbers, starfish and octopuses. After our dive was lunch which was fish caught by our crew, chicken, rolls, salads and beers or whatever you prefer to drink. We then went snorkelling - you have to leave a deposit of 10 for your snorkel and I found that mine was broken but the guide was quick to replace it. Snorkelling is great too as the fish come in quite close to the shore. After this it was time to go home. On the way home there was more singing, afternoon tea biscuits, coffee and tea then the crew showed us how to open a coconut. It was a really really fun day! We thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

My group and I had a wonderful time with Captain Cook's crew. The people in Fiji are so friendly and helpful. The island was beautiful. The activities fun and the food was excellent. As a seasoned traveler, I say this is a must do activity in Fiji.

The cruise was wonderful. The staff were very courteous, friendly and fun. Other than the pick up from our hotel being in 'Fiji time' everything was wonderful.
