You get to see a lot on this trip. Gomera's scenery is dramatic, and there was even a short time to see the main town before returning to Tenerife. The guide was friendly, and the coach pick-up was punctual. As the island is mountainous, be prepared for both warm and chilly weather. The journey from Cristianos was by boat not catamaran, so whilst a bit slower it was possible to sit on deck and enjoy great views, including dolphins! One downside - I had to call three times before the local agent was ready to confirm a pick-up time, after 4pm the day before.

I was not told to bring warm clothing as the area we visited was wet and cold which I have since learned is typical of this area. The courier wouldn't accept the web-printed voucher as the correct paperwork until I insisted it was all I had.
