Actually went to Mt Titlis instead, which included a little time to see Engelberg. Engelberg wasn't anything special, but Mt Titlis was beautiful.

I did the independent trip, so I was able to see more than the people on the escorted trip.

Unfortunately on the day we had booked bad weather prevented us from going to Engleberg. Instead we were taken to Mount Rigi for a train trip up the mountain and back down by cable car. We then went to spend a couple of hours in Lucerne. It was a good experience but we were looking forward to the village trip. This was a trip hastily put together in order not to let people down, so overall they did well.
