Take a guided walk past decorative houses, before enjoying approximately two hours at your leisure for your own exploration. You may choose to visit the Appenzell museum for a closer look at traditional Swiss customs or enjoy a local speciality at one of the cosy Appenzell restaurants. Alternatively, stroll the narrow pedestrian streets for a spot of souvenir shopping.
Before returning to Zurich you will stop in Stein, where you'll observe the traditional method of cheese making in the Appenzeller region at the local cheese factory.
