An outstanding overview of the battle with some very interesting details.

We had a good time on our trip. We just wished we would have stopped a couple more times to be able to take pictures while on the battlefield part. We only stopped twice.

Enjoyable. Well organized and met expectations. Traffic on the way back was a mess. Not much you can do.

As someone who has been to Gettysburg before, I was extremely disappointed by the little amount of time actually spent on the battlefield (less than 2 hours.) Isn't that why you go to Gettysburg?? Also, the speakers for half the bus didn't work. The driver said "Too bad. Nothing I can do about it." The tour of the Pierce house was the most interesting part of the whole day. I would suggest that anyone who feels comfortable renting a car and driving there yourself, do it! The visitors center has excellent resources for a self guided tour. I can only guess the reviewers who raved about this tour had never been there before, and didn't know what they were missing.
