This trip was amazing. The Rocky Mountaineer was first rate, the staff was wonderful and very informative. The ride along the coast and then into the mountains was just breathtaking. Once at Whistler we took the float plane ride over the glaciers that was a once in a lifetime experience and not too expensive. Plenty of free time at Whistler to shop and eat and then on the way back we saw 4 black bears and a waterfall. A wonderful day!! Well worth the money.

Fabulous trip, the train was superb, slowed down for photographers and the breakfast was scrumptious. Plenty of time in Whistler, we did the Peak to Peak, the scenery was stunning. Beautiful day, sunny, blue skies, so we were very lucky.

We were unlucky to have bad weather every day in the week we were in Vancouver. The train trip was comfortable. Being advertised as dome-top we were disappointed when the glass cover did not cover the whole roof. ... there was only laps of glass at the top of the windows. We had a very windy stay in Whistler and was unable to do the Peak2Peak gondola.(much to our disapointment)
