Fantastic way to see the Blue Mountains! This 4WD tour was the highlight of our stay in Sydney. Not only was it nice to get off the beaten path, but it was truly serene walking through the national park, learning about different trees and hearing the native birds. Lunch at the botanic gardens was superb (try the fish!) and the views were amazing! Featherdale Wildlife Refuge was a blast - wallabies, roos, and emus roam about and petting a koala was a plus! Scenic World is a must-see - the steep railway was truly unique and the walkway really puts you at one with nature. We enjoyed trying our hands at the didgeridoo and boomerang - "when in Australia..." We would highly recommend the 4WD tour to explore the majestic Blue Mountains!

The tour guide was knowledgeable. We appreciated his "insider" tips about Scenic World and taking the ferry into Sydney for the views at sunset. We liked the small tour and the ability to take the vehicle into the forest. The lunch was delicious. We were disappointed that we did not stop at the Olympic Village as advertised in the brochure.

Driver was excellent and very helpful. Unfortunately apart from one small incursion 'offroad' I fail to see why we had a 4WD vehicle. I also felt that the time we had in a couple of places was very tight and so spoilt the experience. Maybe there's too much for the one day? Overall however it was an enjoyable day - I just felt we didn't have enough time - I would look to see if there was a trip with an overnight stopover next time.

We found our guide a bit "boring" and it's hard to spend the entire day with a "boring" guide. The price was high, especially because it didn't include the Scenic World entrance fee and it's the only way to really see the Three Sisters. Would be better if it was "all inclusive" of this fee. The lunch at the Botanical Gardens was excellent!
