This is on of the most scenic areas in CA. The drive down along the PCH is a treat in itself. Once you get to Monterey, you have the option of going to the Aquarium, dining in some of their fine restaurants, or taking a walk along the shoreline or if you're a shopper, explore the shops.
Two hours is not enough time but it gives you an introduction to this beautiful area. The 17-Mile Drive is breathtaking. I am never tired of it. Nice scenic stops along the way enhance the beauty and opportunities.for photos.
The last leg of the trip is Carmel. Such an adorable town! Very different from Monterey. It is mainly residential with a main street with gorgeous shops. There is also a town beach that is lovely. One cannot absorb all of this in one hour. It is imperative to return.

Country is beautiful. Sights to die for. Bus driver was not really in tune with tour. Stops and non-stops did not allow you time to appreciate the sights. 17 miles really not seen when you compare road covered and brochure provided.

I expected more from the scenery. Also, I would have rather spent much less time in the Monterey tourist trap and spent the time at Pebble Beach or Carmel instead. The driver was just OK.
