Guide enhanced the tour, not a boring moment. It was hard on my knee (bone on bone) but well worth it. The detail of the work done inside the whole complex was way over what I expected.

Tour guide was fabulous and no lines made all very worthwhile. Do not hesitate to take.

One of the best, well organized, most informative tours I have ever taken. Shannon is wonderful and we booked her for the Colosseum/Forum tour too. She is funny, informative, so knowledgeable, and really charming. I highly recommend her. The Vatican tour is overwhelming and you need a good guide. Plus, you need an interesting guide because you, yourself, can be easily overwhelmed. I'm not a huge fan of guided tours but next time I come back to Rome, I will happily book another tour with Shannon.

Prior to our trip to Rome I had heard of the lengthy queues to get into the Vatican museum and St. Peter's so I decided to pre book this tour - it was an excellent decision and we bypassed the massive queue and went straight in! Our guide, Shannon, gave a fantastic tour aided by the audio system which meant we could hear her easily throughout. At the end of the tour we were able to go back into St. Peter's and climb to the top of the Dome - again no queuing to get back in. We would thoroughly recommend this tour although you do have to be fairly fit as it is 3 hours of walking in hot and crowded conditions.

The tour was great however a smaller tour group would have been better for us. Too many people in general touring the Vatican. Difficult to get around. However, our tour guide was very, very good!
