The Gallery was amazing. I did not get the tour, just the tickets and then bought the audio guide for 5 Euro. The Gallery was a highlight for sure.

The works of art are just terrific, but the Borghese building itself is just overwhelming. It was almost more than our senses could take in in just one afternoon. The gift shop was just terrific, and we got a DVD to take home and enjoy at our leisure. Also had a snack in the little coffee shop there in the building, which saved the day.

It was really worth it! We immediately found the representative, who gave us the tickets to go in without any hassles. We just had to wait for the doors to open and we were in, no queues whatsoever. Very good if you have a heavily scheduled holiday or just don't want to waste time waiting in the queue.

The Villa Vorghese Park is compared to central Park in NYC but not as big. Beautiful park to walk around with refreshment stands all over. The gelato ice cream was incredible. The gallery was incredible with more artwork than any private home I've seen with the exception of the Hearst Castle. They have a beautiful lake with a Roman temple which is perfect for photos.
