My Mother and her friend flew over to visit me in Montreal. I decided that a day trip to Quebec City would be a good idea and after reading a few reviews I booked the excursion through Viator. We went for the trip without the boat ride and I think it was the right choice as it gave us a couple of hours to explore the city a bit more. The morning was great, the bus driver was great and gave an interesting narration while driving out of Montreal, through the countryside and up to Quebec where we were met by a local guide, we walked round the "downtown" area and he gave a witty yet informative introduction into the history. We then got back on the bus and got to see areas which in one day would be hard to cover on foot. At this point the tour seperates for lunch, then people on the river tour go and get on a boat and the rest have 4 hours or so to explore. The weather was amazing so we were happy to head up the funiculaire and wander round the town. over all it was a great day and I'm sure the next time friends come to visit I will be doing the same thing again.

Expected more of a viewing and perhaps a driveby stop of Montmorency Falls, but the view was only from the cruise.
Tour Guide in Quebec City was excellent, very knowledgable and friendly. Bus driver was a little crazy, but still a good tour.
Good tour with interesting guides. We cose not to go on the river trip to give more time exploring this lovely old city......wise choice
