The trip was fantastic. All the guides were great. My sister has lived in LA for 9 years and was surprised and impressed by all that we learned.

Great tour and see if you can go with Brian! Great guy and very knowledgeable! Saw a few stars homes, but sadly didn't see any stars, but the trip around Sony studios and then the walking tour after that were great!

My 16 year old daughter and I had time to kill before our evening flight. We loved the Movie Stars Experience. It is really three tours in one. First you get into a minivan or bus depending on the group and drive around to different movie stars homes with little stories and personal experiences of the guide. Then we were dropped off at Sony for a tour. It is a little shorter tour than the regular one; we missed the short film is all. We learned about Sony and were able to get on the set of 2 game shows, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy; a comedy, Cavemen; and a movie, Thomas Jefferson. They have a different schedule every day and every hour of what is being used and what's not. We were not allowed in anything that was filming. We were dropped off at the start for lunch on our own and met other groups for the Hollywood Walking Tour. We had a fabulous guide. Very professional. We started at an acting school, and we were able to see the red carpet at the Egyptian Theater for an opening. I highly recommend this tour for those that like movies and movie stars. We definitely loved out day. We were done by 3:45 PM and made it to our flight.

The tour in question was fairly good and comprehensive; however, I did feel that the driver guide on this particular tour was more concerned about informing clients about his own specific achievements and how well he does his job, rather than getting the tour done and concentrating on what the tour was in fact about. That said, he did appear to make people comfortable and relaxed, although my personal feelings on this were solely to increase his personal financial reward at the end of the tour.

The tour itself was worth doing as you learn a lot and see a lot. The transportation was terrible; half hour late being picked up, and they forgot to take us back to hotel. Had to wait over 1.5 hours, after being promised 4 times a ride was 5 minutes away. In the end we got a half refund once I stormed into their office and demanded a lift.
