Kensington Palace is lovely. There weren't many people waiting when we went; however, in peak times it would be a great time saver.

We loved strolling the gardens and the palace. It is a little misleading to say "skip the lines," though. There weren't any.

The self-paced guided tour was really good and had lots of information. The exhibits were very interesting. This is definitely worth the time and money.
