My friend and I had some time before attending a late wedding in Vegas and casinos are not our thing. We could not have found a more fantastic way to spend a late autumn afternoon hour than soaring for the first time. What a wonderful experience. Snuggled like peas in a pod, secure with the knowledge that our pilot was as skilled as they come, we enjoyed every second. Do you like Roller Coasters?, he asked us. We knew that was a loaded question and seconds later, we left our collected stomachs a few thousand feet above as we swooped down like a graceful raptor to smooth landing and the continuation of our Vegas experience. Would I do it again? No question about it. This could be addictive

Right from the moment we walked in the door the pilot greeted us, offered us a drink, and then walked us out to our glider. He took our picture, showed us the different types of gliders, and gave us a very nice introduction to the art. He had been flying since he was a young boy and had 30 years experience. We were in very good hands.
Once in the air, he explained what he was doing as he did it, and the experience itself - well - it's one of the best things I've ever done and may go and get my license!
