After reading about taxi scams from Hanoi Airport, we decided to book a private transfer. This was a costlier option, but we were so glad to have used it. As we came through customs, we were met by a delightful young lady who took us to the cab and then accompanied us to our hotel. She explained various things along the way and made us feel welcome to our first experience in Vietnam. We felt it was definitely worth the money and would recommend it to other travellers.

This is the only way to go with airport transfers. On time, good drivers, and cool. It's important to have a reliable private transfer.
