It was easy to find the tour director and great to skip the line and go in a special entrance.

I really didn't know how to rate this. Getting the tickets were easy and simple. The person was there on time. However, since we were there near the end of October, there was no line when we went in. There was a small line that was moving at a not too bad pace when we came out, though. So if you're thinking about going in the summer, I'd say it would be worth it, but maybe take your chances in the fall.

Arrived 20 minutes prior as advised. The guide passed us straight though into the gallery; we didn't have to wait for the full group to arrive, saving us 20 very precious minutes on our 1 action packed, amazing but tiring day in Florence. Very impressed. The regular queue went down the street and around the block; we walked straight in, literally. Excellent. The David is breathtaking, no replicas come close, it really is stunningly beautiful and well worth seeing.

Seeing Michelangelo's breathtaking 'David' was more than worth the trip to the Academia Gallery. By prebooking the tickets and skipping the line, the afternoon was stress free, and allowed us more time to see the city of Florence!

Worth skipping lines, but we wish we would have taken a guided tour.
