We had a lovely time on the Chianti wine tasting trip. The rain had stopped and cleared to a sunny afternoon. The tour of the winery was interesting. The best part was the wine tasting. We gathered in a nice room and enjoyed various wines, cheeses and meats. We had an opportunity to purchase items, but there was absolutely no pressure. We then traveled to the town of Chianti where we had time to shop or taste more wines. The guide was a delight. It was a great experience to travel out of the city and enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Trip to the castle winery was great. Touring a castle that was still lived in was unique. The wine tasting was fun.

Both guides were excellent and informative. When we finally reached the castle/wine tasting I really enjoyed the tour. However, the church and cave stop was not a good addition to the trip. We were hoping for more wine tasting as well.
