This tour was the highlight of our Cape Town trip. Our chauffer, Kevin, was the most well traveled and knowledgeable person we met in South Africa. Cape Winelands are just beautiful, my wife and I can't say enough about our amazing tour. We will remember this forever.

Great fun. The wines were all quite good but really the reason for taking this tour is the motorbike - sidecar experience. Wonderful!

The CJ750 bikes were manufactured for the Chinese army between the mid-1950s and mid-1970s, and the sidecars are at least 30 years old. They’re hardly models of dynamic excellence, but they’re great fun – especially when you’re bombing down the motorway with the wind in your face. On my trip, our first stop is at the Fairview Estate, a quirky vineyard where goats live in a tower out the front. There’s a huge range of wines available for tasting – and most are of a very good quality – and plenty of cheeses to match them with. Pretty much next door is the Seidelberg Estate, with its own glass-blowing studio.
