Spear-hunting was really great! Though we did not get to catch anything, Brandon did catch a reef shark and a stingray. It was amazing to see his fishing skills, and how easy he made it look! Going through the mangroves, we picked up some shells and he showed us which ones were good to eat or not. It was really interesting to learn about traditional hunting and way of live. Definitely recommended! You'll get wet but you'll love it!

Enjoyed this tour a lot and would recommend it to anyone going to Cairns. We went to places the other big tours don't go so we hardly saw another person all day. Walking in the mangroves was messy but lots of fun. The swim at the falls at the end was a great way to cool down and relax at the end of the day.

The mangrove walk was so much fun, everyone ended up covered in mud from slipping and sliding over the tree roots. The brothers were funny and welcoming and it was interesting to see how they have combined modern life with the old traditions of the tribe. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat, but make sure I wear shorts next time not a sundress!

Very nice experience. We caught mud crabs and found mussels - we had a lot of fun in the mud. Beeing in the art galery and painting by our own was good as well. I would have love to spent a bit more time with the Aboriginals.

I found the Aboriginal Daintree Rainforest Tour to be very interesting. The guide was terrific - it was just a pity that us 'city slickers' didn't do much crab catching. I began to wonder if they just waited for the guide!! We would have starved if it had been up to us!! The tasting of our catch was great - and the damper and muffins were the best. I will be trying damper and golden syrup from now on! Was all very worthwhile.
