This is the "Must Do" tour. It was exactly what we needed and well worth the money. Potsdam showcases the best of Prussian royalty through it's palaces and gardens. In addition, you get an opportunity to see beautifully restored traditional German homes. You will not believe your eyes!

The tour is good, althoug I would have enjoyed a short stopmto see the Cecilienhof palace, which during the tour you can only catch a glimpse behind the trees. There is an exhbit in the New Palace until october 2012 that you can't miss even if it means to return to Berlin by train and not in the tour bus.

The tour description should be more clear that you can pick up the tour at 9:30 or 10:30 and the 4 hours begins after the 10:30 pick-up. The tour was enjoyable, however the bus driver was abrupt and rude. When I showed up with my online voucher she pretty much only wanted to speak in German demanding that I have a ticket. It would have been nice if she had said, let me exchange your paid up voucher for a ticket. Also when we stopped for 25 minutes before the 10:30 pick-up she didn't offer any comments such as there are coffee shops around the corner, etc. Again, abrupting/rudely -- "we leave in 25 mins in bus". Also provided no help on how to plug in the audio sets. Maybe Berliners just don't understand good customer service.

Not enough time alloted for visiting Potsdam attractions.

The bus trip was good - but unfortunately so much time was taken driving us round Potsdam not enough time was left to see the Palaces. We were told if we went to the New Palace we wouldn't have time to see the Sans Souci Palace - and when we arrived there, we were told we could see the Palace or the gardens, but not enough time for both. The place where the historic Potsdam Conference was held was pointed out - hidden behind trees. We would LOVE to have walked there but were not given the option. So all we saw were the Sans Souci Palace gardens. The map was useless - we wanted to see Frederick's grave but no indication of where it was. We were bitterly disappointed with the tour as we basically were not given the chance to see what we wanted to see. Apart from looking around it was almost a complete waste of time and money.
