There was another public transportation strike in the city, but our driver was waiting for us. Traffic was beyond description because
everyone drove their own vehicles to work,
Our driver kept his cool and we arrived safely
at the hotel.
Despite a torrential rain storm and traffic chaos thanks to a transport strike in Athens our car did turn up as arranged and the driver found us in the Customs Hall with dozens of other Cruise guests whose transport had not turned up.. Traffic was so bad that a 20 minutes journet took and hour and a half. (Longer if our driver did not know the 'short cuts' Full marks to the Viator operator in Athens

The driver was waiting for me when I got off the boat 30 min early!!!! Perfect!!! He had me at my hotel in the Platka by 9 PM!!! Very happy me!
