The palace at Versailles was beautiful and so the Grand Triannon and Petit Triannon. I would recommend a full day trip as this will give you enough time to see the whole place. However, our tour guide, John, was extremely unsatisfactory. He would wander away by himself ahead of the group and people would not be sure where to go as he said nothing to us. Information given was unclear, boring and monotonous. Whenever a question was asked when things were unclear, he would brush them off by saying things like 'weren't u listening, i already covered that'. When someone offered an opinion on something, he would say 'are you the tour guide, or am i'? I believe he was probably the worst tour guide I have ever encountered. He rarely spoke to any members of the tour while bringing us around, and acted as though he rather not be there. Beautiful place, terrible tour guide! the tour is WAYYY TOO EXPENSIVE for the service we received, I expected much better for a small group day trip. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR. Better to go yourself, all the palaces have audio guides anyway. Our tour guide only showed us the Grand Palace, and left us alone to wander the gardens, grand triannon and petit triannon. Not acceptable for a fully guided tour as I saw other tour guides guiding other people through those areas, and there were things of interest in those places that left us wondering what were they. I also recommend that please do not ever book a tour with this Tour Operator.
