When we talk about Italy, we are talking about History and by consequence Tourism, and in this particular issue, Viator with all their employees and Tourist Guides delivered Excellence from the first day of our stay in Rome, Florence and Capri, thank you very much for your knowledge and professionalism about this complicated business.

Would not book a tour again where the tour was given in five different languages ALL the time. It was disrupting and half the time felt that we didn't get all the information that would have been nice to know. Part of the tour in Floreance consisted of promoting sales for a certain shop. Think we could have done more while in the city. Lot of time just left to wonder around.

Out of the five Viator trips I booked, this was the one I was most excited about and dismally ended being the worst. Firstly my daughter and I were the last on the bus which was totally full other than two seats that were were not next to each other. This meant we were apart for the whole three hours it took to get there. Both my daughter and myself were EXTREMELY upset about this. The guide we had was great but unfortunately we were not given individual headsets to hear the commentary. With fifty people to one guide, it was very unfair to the majority of us who were not able to get close enough to the guide to hear what she was saying. There were a lot of people in the group who were disgusted with the ratio of tourists (50) to guide (1). Surely with this many people headsets should have been provided. So we got to hear very little about the main attractions in Florence. HUGE disappointment. The other issue myself and others were very frustrated with was the dual languages being spoken. The english speaking group were herded together and then had to move away to let the spanish group in to hear. This continued through out the whole day and it certainly took up time that could have been spent looking at other attractions. Lastly, lunch was an hour late so we only got to the restaurant at approx 2pm. We then all had to stand at the door whilst they cleared the tables from the previous tour group, so more wasted time. Pasta was half cooked and for some not eddible. For the cost of this tour, I would have expected fewer people, headsets and single language guided tour. Pathetic and extremely disappointing!

53 people on a walking tour with no individual headsets says it all. Didn't hear a word said by the guide. Lunch was 1 hour late and not worth the wait. Resulted in a 15 min walking tour. Should have learnt from the previous experience with this operator.
