Our tour guide jumped out of the van with a big smile and greeted us in French. When he realized only one of us spoke French, he jumped back in and did it over in English for my companion. We were off to a good start for a fabulous tour. He was friendly but took his charge seriously to teach us all he could about Nice and it's history. It really was fascinating. We were especially impressed that the tour had only two of us that morning for some reason and they performed right on time, essentially giving us a private tour. It could not have been better.

Basically driven in people carrier to several sites and given time, usually 20 mins, to explore. Okay as a 'familiarisation' - a walking tour would not be possible, given the distance between the stops. Guide was pleasant and gave some information in good English, but remained with vehicle during stops.

We were in Nice only for 1 day and this was a great way of seeing highlights of Nice. Our driver was very friendly, took much care to address our interests and showed us sights that were most beautiful. Our van was air conditioned which was a great plus in a hot climate such as the Riviera.
