We took thie private tour option, as with 4 of us it worked out about the same price. A highlight was the monkeys - beautiful gentle monkeys which you can feed green beans to. The Fireflies were really beautiful - we took a gentle Sampan ride down the river to see the flashing of thousands of little fireflies in the trees. On a private tour you will have VIP access -- no waiting in line for a sampan; you can just hop straight on. We had our own private Mini Van and drive, so was very easy with pick-up and drop-off to our hotel without having to do a lap around Kuala Lumpur to do other pick ups. Dinner at the Seafood restauirant was rustic but nice. There was a beautiful sunset over the water. We would really recommend that people do this tour.

This was a fantastic experience, and I would say this is a must-do trip when in Kuala Lumpur. Go for the private trip; it's worth the extra money and you can have a small boat to yourself.

This trip is really good. Our guide was very good and told us lots of information. He took us to feed the wild monkeys on the way to the fireflies and asked what we liked to eat so when we got to the seafood restaurant we had a lovely choice of food. Seeing the fireflies was amazing, well worth the trip.
