Our tour guide "Handsome Alan" was great. He was very informative and comical. As the name of the trip suggests "England in One Day" had a very busy itinerary with time schedules always a priority. Stonehenge was mystical, Bath was wonderful, Cotswold countryside was a must see and finishing in Stratford Upon Avon was a great finale to the day with champagne, scones and strawberry jam. My only criticisms would be (a) that 56 on a bus is a lot of people and (b) with the traffic congestion, the driver has to push to return to the depot on time. We were tired but fulfilled at the end of the day.

Overall the tour was great. Our Guide was well versed and pleasant and kept us up to date about what we were going to do and how much time we had to do it. The coach was comfortable. The number of stops the distances involve and keeping to a tight schedule can be challenging for those who are not accustom to this type of regime, so if one thing I would like to recommend is that an advisory be made very clear that STRICT TIME TABLE is the rule rather than the exception.

The stop at Stonehenge was excellent. The second stop, Bath, needs improvement. When we stopped, our group was told that we had one hour before we had to meet the tour guide and go find the bus. The tour of the Roman baths we were told took one and a half hours, but could be done in one hour if you hurried. Also, during the one hour stop, we were also to have lunch and enjoy the fine shopping in the area. Not any where near enough time to do any of it. The trip through the Cotswolds was very nice. The stop at Stratford-upon-Avon needs some help. Maybe if the tour had not been on Sunday, it might have been better. On Sunday, the only thing open was Shakespeare's birth place, for scones and a drink, and three quotes from plays. Every thing else in the town was closed. I realize that you can not start the tour any earlier, because of the bus drivers running out of hours to drive. Customers need more time in Bath. I do not know if there is a way to shorten the amount of time spent driving through the Cotswolds, but once you have seen some rolling hills covered in canola or wheat, I don't know how much you need to see. Stratford-upon-Avon was a worthless stop for me. Give me a scone and a drink at some old pub closer to London so I could enjoy the tour and shopping in Bath. Thank God my wife wasn't along, I would still be listening to her complain.

This was good. It was a bit too rushed though. It would be good if the website indicates that you spend at least half the day riding on the bus. I would have liked more time in Bath. I may have opted to skip the Leeds tour and do the items in this itinerary over two days. I think you have some tours that would allow for a slower pace.

I would not recommend this trip unless you want to spend nine hours or more of the day on a bus. It was too rushed at each location in order to meet the ambitious scheduling. I would suggest taking a tour that has less cities and travel time in order to spend more quality time exploring the sites. I enjoyed the stops but I do not think I would do it again.
