This is a great way to see something of Italy other than the touristy spots. The small group made the trip enjoyable. We were told that there would be room for our luggage since we were coming off a cruise ship, but when we confirmed several days in advance, we were told there may not be enough room for our luggage and that we should store our luggage in Venice. So we had to spend an extra 20 euros to store our luggage. It turns out that the van we took the tour in had plenty of room for our bags! We had a great tour guide, and it was nice to have someone who spoke Italian since we were in non-touristy places where most of the locals did not speak English at all. The only thing that could have been better was the transportation. The van had backward facing seats, where several in our small group of 7 could not sit due to motion sickness. A small coach bus with large windows and front facing seats would have provided much more opportunity to see the gorgeous views as we drove.

I cannot speak highly enough of this day trip, it was wonderful. Memories of the snow capped mountains, fresh air and lunch near a frozen lake will stay will with us forever. Not to be missed.

This tour was a highlight of our 5 weeks in Italy. The tour was professional & relaxed in a great vehicle with an excellent guide. The heavy snow that had fallen 10 days before our trip made it even more beautiful in the mountains. This was a fantastic full day tour.

The Dolomite tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The scenery was incredible and our driver-guide was professional, knowledgeable, considerate of our wants and needs and fun to be with. We only wish we could have had more time and hope that one day we can visit the area and spend at least a couple of days.

We enjoyed it fully. The driver was polite, professional and friendly during our stop, he recommended an excellent restaurant. The car that took us was new, clean and comfortable, but luckily were we 4, so there was plenty of space. If you love nature and enjoy photography this is the right trip for you.
