This was the highlight of our time in Florence. The first portion of the trip included a meaningless stop in a small village with a nice view of the countryside. We could have skipped this, but it was probably a built in time cushion for arrival at the castle. The actual tour guide was so longwinded on her commentary on the bus that we were all just hoping she would take a deep breath and stop for a moment or two. The castle and the wine and olive oil tour was conducted by a member of the family who took a notable interest and pride in his product. This was really a nice touch. The wine and appetizers we tasted at the end of the tour were the finishing touches. We had great wine and amazing olive oil! Florence would have been a complete bust were it not for this tour!

This was one of our favorite experiences in Florence. The trip to Castellio in Trebbio was fantastic and is highly recommended. The place is beautiful and the story behind the property is amazing.

Our guide on the bus was wonderful and interesting. At the Castle we were lucky to see the inside of the house as well as the wine cellar, giving us a better understanding of life in this area. It was a great trip with great wine and was a lot of fun. I would go again.

We were a party of six and traveled from Rome to Florence to view the Italian countryside and experience a wine tasting from the Tuscany region. We had an outstanding experience and thoroughly enjoyed the entire day.
