Somewhere between reality and his imagination, he spots Scarlett, the girl of his dreams. Scarlett is a naive actress yearning to become a famous movie star. Iris, a new, large-scale production from Cirque du Soleil, is a lyrical, fanciful, kinetic foray into the seventh art. Bringing together dance, acrobatics, live video, filmed sequences and animation, Iris takes you on a fantastic voyage through the history of cinema and its genres, bringing you into the heart of the movie-making process.

As you follow Buster in his search for love, witness the poetic construction and deconstruction of cinema, from illustration to animation, black-and-white to color, silent films to talkies, fixed shots to swooping scenes.
