Absolutely loved it!

This trip is not just for the train enthusiasts but anyone who likes to travel through fantastic scenery in comfort. To see the Rockies from a seat in the "Dome car" has to be one of life's more memorable experiences. Money well spent.

Absolutely loved it!

My daughter, my daughter-in-law and myself thoroughly enjoyed our journey through the Yellowhead Pass to Dunster. Our hostess on the train was very friendly and informative and the observation car was excellent. The Dunster General Store was extraordinary and the drive back to Jasper was full of more wonderful scenery and commentary from our driver.

Definitely worth doing

My wife and I really enjoyed our day on the Skeena railway - the organisation was spot on. There weren't very many passengers on the train on the day that we went so we were allowed to view the awesome landscape from the observation car - drinks on board too, what more could you ask for. The couriers were informative during the trip and pointed out the main points of interest. The driver who took us back to Jasper gave a geography lesson on the way home and we stopped off at the lovely Robson Park information centre. It was a great day and a welcome change to be able to sit back and let someone else do the driving. If you are thinking of taking the Rocky Mountaineer train I think this would be a good way to get a taster first.
