Our Guide was not interested in the Ribeira Sacra region. Very few, poor explanations were given and left the bus before the tour finished. Important points were ignored. A great place to visit but with a dedicated professional in charge.

A great tour that packs in the Ourense, with its thermal springs and market with stalls selling a fantastic range of breads, two very different monasteries, and a drive through the forests of the Ribeira Sacra, with a stop at an excellent viewpoint. Lunch was in an absolutely authentic village restaurant with many locals eating there and playing cards. Although I was the only one in the group not to understand Spanish, the knowledgeable guide translated everything into English, including casual conversations as we walked round with the others in the group. She was excellent. A great start to my visit to Santiago and Galicia and highly recommended. I only wish my itinerary had been such that I was able to go on some of the other tours from Santiago organised by the same people!
