Visit a variety of cultural and historical highlights located around the city, including St John’s Cathedral and the colonial mansion once occupied by the British governors. Admire the beautiful wooden architecture of many of the houses you pass.

Then, you’ll be driven by your local guide 30 miles (50 km) north of Belize City to Altun Ha. Here, take a guided tour around the Mayan temple ruins and get the chance to see the ancient city up close. Learn how this centuries-old city was once a thriving trading post in the Mayan era. After exploring these impressive ruins, you’ll be transferred back to your cruise ship port.
