Swimming with Dolphins at Sea Life Park Hawaii

Sea Life Park Hawaii offers you a fantastic opportunity to get up close and personal with dolphins, the ocean's favorite resident. You can choose from three different dolphin activities, perfect for all ages, budgets and levels of confidence. Entrance is included so you are free to explore the other attractions at the park before or after your dolphin swim.

All programs include an orientation session followed by 30-minutes of supervised interaction with Sea Life Park Hawaii's lovable dolphins. Choose from:

Royal Swim (minimum age 8 years, minimum height 4 feet / 1.2 meters):
The most popular Swimming with Dolphins program, the Royal Swim includes a foot push, where dolphins push your feet from below to propel you full speed across the water's surface. Enjoy the ride as you hold on to the dorsal fins of two dolphins for a ride through the water. This is in addition to a welcome kiss from your adorable playmates.

Swim Adventure (minimum age 8 years, minimum height 4 feet / 1.2 meters):
The dolphin greets you with a kiss on the cheek and a handshake, giving you a sense of closeness to this beautiful creature. Relax as you hold on to the dolphin's dorsal fins for a belly-ride around the water, a truly unique experience! Pet the dolphin, pose for a big dolphin kiss and perform various close contact interactions. Put on your snorkel and mask to see the dolphins as they speed and spiral through the water below you, demonstrating their amazing agility

Encounter Program (minimum age 1 year):
Great for small children and those who don't want to venture into deep water, the Encounter program offers the chance to interact with friendly dolphins from a waist deep platform. You'll have the opportunity to hug and kiss the dolphin who will respond with a friendly kiss on the cheek! Watch the dolphins as they perform a series of amazing tricks and marvel at their astonishingly entertaining behavior.

Dolphin Cove Show
They'll jump, spin, flip, and entertain you. Relax in the large, open-air theater and watch dolphins perform some of the most breathtaking moves you're ever seen. The show is designed to be educational, amusing, and thrilling.

Hawaiian Ocean Theater
The park's main shows take place in a comfortable, open-air, aquatic theater. View dolphins, penguins, and sea lions as keepers show you the newest training techniques and tell you about Sea Life Park Hawaii's conservation efforts.

The Hawaiian Reef Aquarium
Take in Hawaii's stunning underwater ecosystem from top to bottom. This 300,000-gallon aquarium is home to more than 2,000 reef species and organisms, including impressive sharks, stingrays, turtles, and schools of colorful tropical fish.

Kolohe Kai Sea Lion Show
They're smart, fast, and funny! Sea lions are a delight to watch and the show highlights them in all their acrobatic glory. Bring the whole family and prepare to laugh out loud as they entertain you.

Penguin Habitat Trainer Talk
Home to 11 adorable penguins, the habitat is known for its successful breeding colony. Sea Life Park Hawaii are active participants in the American Zoological Association's Species Survival Plan for the Humboldt Penguin, and very proud to introduce guests to this cherished endangered species.

Pirates' Lagoon
Ahoy there! Pirate's Lagoon is a fun place where children can run around the miniature maze and play area. This spot is an ideal location for birthday parties and perfect for letting your little ones play pirate.

Seabird Sanctuary
Many birds have arrived at the park injured or sick, and in need of rehabilitation. Watch as keepers carefully and lovingly nurse these beauties back to health. If you're lucky, you'll also catch glimpses of some of the local Hawaiian seabirds, including the Iwa (Great Frigate Bird).

Sea Turtle Feeding
If you're curious about sea turtles and their care, then this exhibit is not to be missed. Sea Life Park Hawaii have partnered with accredited facilities and experts to develop an ongoing program that fosters understanding and appreciation of these majestic creatures.
