It was very nice. The guide did a great job. Can't remember his name. Thanks.

In general, we would rate the trip as excellent, at least the items that you could control. The incredible crowds at Versailles, particularly in the apartments and Hall of Mirrors, and the rain were items you could not control. The only real complaint was the 20-minute bathroom break at the beginning of the tour--quite unnecessary and wasteful of time.

The tour guide was exceptional with the information she provided but the Palace was so crowded it made it difficult to enjoy the interior. The gardens were spectacular. Maybe more time could be allocated too enjoy the garden.

The English speaking guides were a little difficult to understand though very compentent, trip worthwhile.

Horrible tour. When I got to the local tour agency they did not even have my booking on file and they blamed Viator. So I had to wait on standby to see if anyone of the full tour did not show up. Thankfully a couple did not show up so my wife and I were able to go. However, this tour was definitely not worth the cost, and I think was a waste of time. To start, everyone was so pushy trying to get into Versailles... we were packed in like sardines and I thought I was going to get trampled. Our tour guide was arguing and yelling with other guides, and told us that we Americans in the group had to learn how to be pushy if we were going to get in. Once we got inside, I felt like part of a herd of cattle trying to make it through. Our guide spoke English, but I couldn't understand her much at all due to the French accent. My wife had to go to the bathroom, but there were none available till end of tour an hour later, so we had to wait. By the time the tour finished we were thankful it was over. We tried to get into the Gardens, but that wasn't included in the price. And we wouldn't have had the time to see it anyway before our tour bus left. When the tour bus left, they didn't even count heads but just took off. It seemed they just didn't care.
