Tour guide was amazing. Knew a lot about the tribe and how they lived. Well worth your money.

The guide was nice. He showed us a book on what animals might be in the reserve, but nothing was ever sighted. We boated across a lake, through a channel, across another lake, and floated in a Mayan made channel for about an hour, which was neat for the first half hour. After going back across both lakes, we went back to town for lunch at a local diner. It was not bad, but the only purpose was to keep the owner well fed! Lunch was included in the offer, but you only get one drink; water or soda or beer, but only one! So, after a thirty minute drive each way and an hour and a half lunch, we went to a small ruin, Muyil, which was nice, but they were no comparison to Tulum or Coba. We couldn't understand what the ruin had to do with the Wilderness Adventure. Eventually, we went back to town to snorkel, which was actually kind of fun, the best part of this Lackluster Wilderness Adventure. I would not recommend it.
