Leave bustling London behind for five wonderful days in the countryside of southwest England! On this small-group tour from London to the counties of Devon and Cornwall, your guide will tell you interesting historical facts and stories about the area and show you beautiful towns, famous sights and breathtaking landscapes you’ll never forget. Discover the beauty of these two regions – some of England's best – and visit popular attractions like Stonehenge. You’ll see the South Devon coast, Dartmoor, Exeter and, of course, the idyllic county of Cornwall. In a group of less than 16 people, you are sure to enjoy a personalized and valuable experience with your guide.

From London, your five-day Devon and Cornwall tour begins with a relaxing drive through Wessex on your way to the famous stone circle of Stonehenge – your first stop on the tour. On Day 1, you’ll also visit the South Devon coast, where a stunning landscape awaits you, and Exeter, where you’ll stay for two nights in your choice of a three-star bed and breakfast or three-star hotel.

On your second day, visit mystic Dartmoor, where you’ll hear spooky stories from your guide, and Tavistock, a beautiful small town. Spend the afternoon and evening in Exeter.

Day 3 offers the beauty of Cornwall. Visit the civil parish of Launceston, the Bodmin moor, Golitha Falls, St Neats church and Tintagel Castle. End the day in Falmouth, where you’ll stay for two more nights.

On your fourth day, visit the island of St Michaels Mount and beautiful Minack Theatre. Also visit the village of Mousehole and the white sandy beaches of Porthcurno and Penzance. Move on to Land's End, before you head back to Falmouth.

On Day 5, visit the Eden Project, a popular attraction that is home to the world's largest greenhouse. Return to London in the evening.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Your small-group tour begins with a drive from London through the old kingdom of Wessex, making your way to Stonehenge, where your guide will tell you interesting facts about this prehistoric and mysterious stone circle. Continue your tour to the South Devon coast to admire its white sandy beaches and the rock arch of Durdle Door – perfect subjects for great photos! You'll have enough free time to grab lunch (at own expense).

End your first day in the beautiful town of Exeter, your home base for the first two nights. Your guide will show you some restaurants, where you can enjoy your dinner (at own expense).

Day 2:
After breakfast (included), your guide will take you to Dartmoor, a place of myths and legends that has inspired some of the world’s most famous mystery writers, Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. You'll have enough free time to have lunch (at own expense).

Then visit the hamlet of Postbridge, best known for its ancient clapper bridge. Continue to Tavistock, the lovely hometown of Sir Francis Drake, before heading back to Exeter in the early afternoon to explore the town on your own and have dinner (at own expense). Visit the amazing Norman Cathedral, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and the University of Exeter.

Day 3:
Day 3 is Cornwall day! After breakfast (included), leave Devon behind and make your way to Cornwall, one of England’s most picturesque regions, full of rocky cliffs, white sandy beaches, mystic moors and lovely woodlands. Visit the civil parish of Launceston, Cornwall's ancient capital, and the nearby Bodmin moor, where your guide will tell you about its mysterious legends.

Throughout the day, see attractions like Golitha Falls, the small St Neats church and Tintagel Castle, the birthplace of the legendary King Arthur, and have enough free time for lunch (at own expense).

End your day in Falmouth, your home base for the next two nights. Your guide will recommend you the best local restaurants, where you can enjoy your dinner (at own expense).

Day 4:
After breakfast (included), visit the island of St Michaels Mount and the Minack Theatre, which is built dramatically into the cliffs. See the parish of Mousehole, the beautiful beaches of Porthcurno and possibly even a pirate of Penzance. You'll have enough free time to grab lunch (at own expense).

Move on to the dramatic coast of Land's End and watch the surfers in St Ives before returning to Falmouth for the evening, where you have dinner (at own expense).

Day 5:
After breakfast (included), spend your last day at the Eden Project, which houses various tropical plants, a rainforest, a Mediterranean biome and the world's largest greenhouse.

You'll have lunch there (at own expense), and return to London in the evening.
