Depart Amsterdam in your luxury coach, and travel for approximately three hours to the town of Venlo, where the Floriade 2012 World Horticultural Exhibition takes place from April 5 to October 7. En route, your guide will hand out maps and other information about the expo. On arrival, you'll be taken to the group entrance, where your pre-booked ticket will allow you to skip the line and go directly into the show.
Floriade has been held in the Netherlands every 10 years since 1960. The expo has always been a chance for countries to showcase their economic, social, cultural and technical developments. Sample food at 'Relax & Heal', which focuses on how nature impacts your health and wellbeing.
