Intensive , but well balanced program, good time planningReviewed by: Inesa K, February 2014
It was a great experience touring Kyoto and Nara in one day. The value of having a tour guide is realized when you compare yourself with other guests without tour guide - they don't get to understand what the signs and symbols are of each tourist spot.
It will be cheaper if you take the train from Osaka to Kyoto by yourself and just meet up with the rest of the tourists in the hotel. Lunch was OK, just enough to re-energize you from the morning's tour. It takes about 1.5 hours to travel from Kyoto to Nara, but the experience of seeing deer in the streets was worthwhile.Reviewed by: Glenn Richmond O, January 2014
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip around Kyoto and Nara. It was well organized and the guides provided excellent, informative commentary. The lunch was a little disappointing.Reviewed by: Stephanie B, December 2013
great tour worth goingReviewed by: Laurence O, March 2014
Worth every penny! This tour was so packed with activities, we literally had no time to use the bathroom. I'm not complaining though (I can hold my bladder very well) because I saw everything I wanted to see and visit. And the delicious lunch was an added bonus. Highly recommended!Reviewed by: Evangeline T, December 2013
