The shops we visited were outstanding and the guide was friendly, interesting and knowledgable. It would have been nice to get a map of the area covered so we could go back to some of the places the next day but were not sure where they all were. They were definitely worth another visit.

I had a wonderful time, and my guide was very knowledgeable of the Paris chocolates and pastries. I got a private tour, being that I was the only one. It was amazing to see and taste the many chocolates and types of breads.

It was really nice to have someone show us some amazing sweet shops. I would not have tried a macaroon if it weren't for this tour and that alone was worth the tour. Our tour guide also pointed out some beautiful architecture, as well as, showing us the Central Park of Paris and we went into a beautiful church. I definitely recommend it.

For us, the tour provided an ideal insight into French chocolate-making and we had a wonderful afternoon visiting the chocolate and pastry shops and tasting the samples on offer. It was an excellent tour and we have since recommended it to Australian friends travelling to Paris. The main reason we wanted to write to you was to complement the young guide who conducted our tour. As well as being very knowledgable and enthusiastic about all aspects of chocolate, pastry and bread-making, he was passionate about his city and its history and engaged us is many additional aspects of Paris life. Although the tour was a highlight for us because of our love for chocolate, the young guide made this tour even more memorable and enjoyable for us.

I booked this trip for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday. She has been livinging in Paris for the past 26 years. We were so looking forward to the tour as we both are keen cooks and thought we would get an insight into how the chocolate & pastries were made or at least a behind the scene tour but this was not the case. We were taken to 3 or 4 chocolate shops, all of which were busy, were told to taste it and that was it! The same went for the pastry shops. Our guide, who was very pleasant, bought us a pastry which we ate outside the shop as it was so busy inside! Had we looked up the internet I could have done this myself and at a tenth of the cost. I cannot fault our guide as she knew a lot about the history of the buildings we passed, but so did my sister-in-law. She could have told me the same thing. To say that the tour was disappointing would be an understatement. And at the very high cost I had paid for 4 of us to do the tour it was very misleading and I would not recommend this tour. The whole tour and dealings has left me with a bad taste in my mouth!
