Great tour. The guide is flexible and maximise the opportunity for us to see Mt Fuji. It is a cloudy day and the guide gets us up the mountain to see mt fuji just in time before the weather changed and the road closed. Highly recommended.Reviewed by: Sylvia T, December 2013
It was great to see the mountain and ride in the gondola. The downside was the tour bus itself. It was small with uncomfortable seats. Me and my traveling companion had to endure the ride with the seat in front of us digging into our shins. Took away from the experienceReviewed by: Aundaray G, December 2013
I really had mixed feelings about this tour. To start, the sites were pretty cool and worth checking out, if you are considering doing it, do it. But do the bullet train return tour, we wasted hours in traffic coming back. Food portions were really small as well. We ate at 12, got back at 8, starvinReviewed by: Robert A, November 2013
Guess we can't blame the weather but it was disappointing. And very rushed. Meal ok and lady commentator was pretty much doing her best. Expensive for what it was.Reviewed by: LINDA ANN B, November 2013
Couldn't fault the organisation or Harry (or was it Hari?) the guide. His commentary was insightful, informative and entertaining and he was a really decent chap.
Problem was, the weather just wiped the trip out. We had less than 100m of visibility in places due to fog and driving rain all day so, as a sightseeing trip, it was a pointless exercise. In fact, we never saw a view of Mount Fuji at all!
Also, the boat trip is very short only 15 minutes.
