The pass enables you to discover the magnificence of both Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and Kings Canyon. It is designed for those who wish to stay two nights at Ayers Rock Resort to gain a richer experience of Central Australia. By combining four individual tours into a pass, you can see some of the highlights at a discounted rate. The Eco Pass is a package of tours consisting of:
- Morning sunrise tour to Uluru which includes breakfast (you choose either the Uluru Walk or the Spirit of Uluru)
- Afternoon sunset tour to Kata Tjuta on the Kata Tjuta and Dunes tour which includes champagne, orange juice and nibbles.
- Full-day Kings Canyon Tour. Travel to Watarrka National Park and explore the region with a 6-kilometer walk around the rim of the canyon. Includes picnic breakfast and lunch.
- Night Sky Show admission at the Ayers Rock Observatory. Includes free use of the telescopes.
Ayers Rock Airport Transfers (Roundtrip): You'll have the option to pre-book your airport transfers. You must include all flight and Ayers Rock Resort accommodation details. Details required include airline, flight number, departing city and arrival city, arrival time, hotel name and address.

Itinerary:
Morning Tour - Uluru Walk (5 hours) OR Spirit of Uluru (4-hours):
- The Uluru Walk is a 9.5km or 6 mile guided walk around the complete base of Uluru. This comprehensive tour provides an opportunity to best understand the natural and cultural significance of Uluru. The guides will introduce you to the geology of Uluru and describe how plants and wildlife have adapted and survived in such a forbidding environment. But most fascinating is learning the relationship of the Anangu people to Uluru. Your guide will describe the creation time stories that unfold around Uluru and you can appreciate what a powerful and moving place this is. Departs Daily prior to sunrise, between 5:00am and 6:30am.
- The Spirit of Uluru is a vehicle based version of the Uluru Walk, that provides short walks to view rock art, waterholes and learn about the unique flora and fauna. Complete the tour with a visit to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Departs Daily prior to sunrise, between 5:00am and 6:30am.
You can choose either one of the above morning tours in conjunction with the following afternoon tour.
Afternoon Tour - The Kata Tjuta and Dunes (4-hours):
The Kata Tjuta and Dunes tour introduces you to the Central Australian desert and visits the mystic domes of Kata Tjuta. The 1km walk through Walpa Gorge (Olga Gorge) allows you to delight in the spectacular view of this place which is very sacred to the Anangu people. The tour retreats to witness another brilliant sunset at Kata Tjuta while you sip complimentary champagne. Departs Daily mid-afternoon, between 3:30pm and 4:30pm.
Tour departs 6:30am Returns 5:30pm
Set out early from Ayers Rock Resort and head east along the Lassiter Highway with a picnic breakfast stop. Continue to head west beside the George Gill Range and arrive at Watarrka National Park. This scenic National Park rugged ranges, rock holes and gorges acts as a refuge for many plants and animals, making the Park an important conservation area and major attraction of Central Australia. Kings Canyon features ancient sandstone walls, sculptured by the elements.
Accompanied by your guide, you'll set out on The Canyon Walk, a spectacular 6 kilometer loop walk which is a photographers dream. The walk begins with a steep climb to the top of the Canyon, through a plateau of rocky domes, along the Canyon rim and, half way along, the 'Garden of Eden', a delightful area of cool waterholes and riverine vegetation communities. This walk requires a medium level of fitness.
Evening Tour - Night Sky Show at Ayers Rock Observatory (2-hours):
The brilliance of the night sky is hidden by city lights, but the darkness of our desert setting here at Ayers Rock provides one of the best locations on earth to view the night sky. Our astronomer will guide you through our galaxy and beyond. Discover the zodiac constellations and how they move about the heavens. Hear how to find south using the Southern Cross and other features in the sky. Marvel at the sparkling Milky Way and explore planets and stars using our range of large telescopes. Operated Daily with two English and two Japanese show times every evening.
