Great beauty even though this was the second to last day of the gardens access. On our own but managed to see everything, eat, and enjoy some leisure time for just enjoying the beauty.

A lovely trip. about an hour out of Amsterdam with plenty of time to look round the gardens which were stunning. we were very lucky as the season was late. but the surrounding fields were already over which was a shame.

If visiting Amsterdam during the Keukenhof season, this is a must. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and this was an excellent trip just @ an hour out of Amsterdam proper. Don't miss a visit to Keukenhof Gardens if possible.

We booked this tour as it was supposed to be on THE day of full blooming - but due to long Winter, flowering had been delayed - in the gardens, limited flowers however in the Pavillions there was flowers everywhere. We arrived on a very grey, wet day and had ample time to explore the gardens and have a bite to eat. The gardens must have been amazing just a week or two later, however some of the gardens we saw only just had bulbs poking through the soil. The real sight was inside on the of the Pavillions where there was colour everywhere and where I got most of my photos taken. There are gift shops everywhere as are many eating places. Bets to get a map when you go inside and plan a walk first so that you don't get lost as the gardens are huge. Even though the gardens were not in full flower - I would definitely recommend this tour. Our guide was Pedro and he was very informative and professional.

The tour for Keukenhof Gardens did not start well as our tickets were issued wrongly by the office staff that morning of tour. The long queue and overcrowding at the ticketing office created much confusion for the tourists who clamoured to be served. It was at Keukenhof as we were about to disembark from the bus that we checked out tickets and found a half day ticket instead of a full day was given. We wanted to stay longer at the beautiful Garden so we requested our tour guide who was also the bus driver to call up the office which he firmly turn down by refusing to do so. Instead he told us if we don't make it back on the bus by the appointed time, we may not have a seat later if we decide to stay back for the full day. To avoid being stranded we rushed through the whole tour in order to catch the bus back to Amsterdam city. Back at the ticketing office, we filed our complaint and asked for a refund. The manager apologised and told us that the problem could easily be solved had the driver called them at the office. She offered us another tour by canal cruise. It turn out to be boring when compared to the Keukenhof Gardens as that afternoon it drizzled and we could not enjoyed the scenery. The Keukenhof Gardens itself was very beutiful and the scenery was captivating. We took photos but we did not get to enjoy the whole garden in a leisure manner as the area we had to cover were a lot in 3 hours!.
