Day 1: Alice Springs - Camel Farm - Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) - Olga Gorge - Uluru (Ayers Rock) at Sunset

Departing Alice Springs, you'll travel through the rugged MacDonnell Ranges and enjoy a stop at the Camel Farm before continuing to Ayers Rock Resort. Travel to Kata Tjuta (Olgas) and take a guided walk along the natural creek bed between the walls of Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Late this afternoon, travel to Uluru and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine as you watch the sunset over Uluru.

Day 2: Uluru at Sunrise- Mala Walk - Mutitjulu Waterhole - Kantju Gorge - Ayers Rock

Rise early and enjoy a tea or coffee as the sun casts its first rays on the scarred surface of Uluru. Take a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole. See cave paintings and hear the legends of Kuniya Tjukurpa (Python Dreaming). Tour the base of Uluru before joining your guide to learn about the geology and flora of the region on the Mala Walk. Explore Kantju Gorge. Alternatively you can forgo the guided walks to climb Uluru. Visit the Cultural Centre and Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative. Airport transfer for flights after midday.

Note: Anangu, the traditional owners, would prefer that visitors choose not to climb Uluru. The climb may be closed due to weather or cultural reasons. No refunds will be given in this situation.
