Great moving experience. I really enjoyed this tour, in spite of very cold weather.Reviewed by: Dennis D, USA, March 2014
our tour guide that took us around the trade centre was very good she had a good knowledge of every thing that had happened there , she made us realise the affect it had on people there at that time . and she explained things very well .Reviewed by: David B, February 2014
Kevin was a wonderful guide - we enjoyed our time with him thoroughly - from sitting in St. Paul's chapel feeling the pain of the rescuers to marvelling at the splendour that is the new PATH station clothed in Carrera marble - a revelation - my only complaint is that he said he would email us with some more details , we handed over our card but he didn't , Kevin we would love to hear from you !Reviewed by: Cameron M, February 2014
Fabulous walking tour and our guide Annie was fabulousReviewed by: lisaroma, February 2014
Firstly I was travelling with an infant and toddler with a total of 4 adults. 2 adults and children did the 2 hour tour and the other 2 adults did the 3 hour tour. When we met with the guide and he was just pulling faces and making rude comments to another guide (different company) about me having a stroller and 2 children. He was like how is she going to get through or walk around with that, after all it is a walking tour I'm sure a stroller would be fine. Overall yes it was fine. Instead of a few stairs I took the elevator up, no issues as he made it out to be. Those comments were definitely not necessary, we are paying customers. He also made comments to me saying ooh what is the difference between the two and three hour tour I don't know why you book it differently. Well yes no difference. People on a 2 hr tour got a 2.5 hour tour and those on a 3hr tour got a 2.5 hour tour. I was a little disappointed with the tour as it would have be nice to hear more stories or seen more photos of the devastation rather than listen to the guide talk about himself.
The memorial site was very nice and would definitely recommend this site. There is a museum opening shortly and this is probably what I was after. The only benefit of the tour was jumping the queue at the 911 site which I believe is a must see whilst in NYC. A lot of people on the tour didn't seem impressed with the guide and seemed to wonder off when we arrived at the 911 site.
