An absolute must see. I was concerned this activity would be "Disney-esque" but it provided us with a real sense of the history of the black African people in this country, which we found to be a useful reference as we met new people throughout our trip. As a bonus, the food was wonderful (don't be afraid to try the crocodile or the octopus) and the scenery on the drive from Jo'Burg was beautiful.

The Lesedi Cultural Village experience was wonderful, but the drive to the Village was very quite. Our tour guide was simply a driver. He did not inform us of anything that we passed on the way to or from the Village. He said he would meet for dinner and we never saw him, and we had to go and find him once we had completed dinner and shopping!

Was good fun, we really enjoyed it. Pick-up in the car by hostess was right on time and she was very nice company. The village itself was really worth visiting, all the people up there were really nice and had a great show! No pushing for buying presents and souvenirs. Afterwards diner was delicious as well. Is fun for the whole family!

This is a unique experience highly recommended, however it does require more time for certain activities. I did not like that beverages in the dinner were not included.
