The city tours are a must if you want to get information on the area before you start out on your own. We only had one full day in Brisbane and this tour was comprensive and diverse. We did the harbor, the wheel and the city and because we were outside the area we rode the train. The trains are a wonderful way to get around in the larger cities.

The morning's tour was excellent - we saw so much of the city, from all sides, and we really enjoyed it. The afternoon at Lone Pine was also excellent. Downsides/reason for 4*:break for lunch was very short and we wasted time waiting for tour to depart (pick up @ 8.15am, tour didn't leave 'til 9.15am)

Although we enjoyed the actual tour, it was a nightmare to contact the Tour Operator! We were instructed via e-mail to contact them 24 hours prior to the tour date to confirm pick-up time at the hotel, however at no time were we provided with details of their office hours. We tried desperately to contact them from the hotel (thinking they had 24/7 service) were I incurred $50.00 in phone charges (another detail not provided by the hotel!) because the Tour Operator's recording did not mention their operating hours! I will never book through this Tour Operator (or VIATOR)again nor will I recommend them to friends!
