Here is a selection of the most recent reviews of the 2-Day Combo: Sydney City Tour, Sydney Harbour Lunch Cruise and Blue Mountains Day Trip submitted by actual travelers. Read what travelers liked, what they loved, and what they thought could be improved.
1. Sydney City Tour
The tour director David was great, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.
Major locations around the city of Sydney were included. David's narration was very informative.
2. Lunch cruise Sydney Harbour:
We joined the "Majistic" Lunch Cruise, which was a 2 hour lunch cruise.
The buffet lunch was both "incredible, delicious, and abundant". You will pay your own drinks, which were no big deal.
This could have been easily the best part of all 3 parts of this 2-day combo package.
3. Blue Mountains Tour:
This day long excursion offered so many great attractions, though the weather was mostly good, Sydney and its vicinities were down pouring in the last 2+ hours, which negatively impacted our activities.
We really enjoyed the Featherdale Wildlife Park where we had our chance to see a great collection of wild life animals. We also had a chance to be photographed with a reptile (free). The collection of birds was "amazing". However, here you won't be able to hold a koala for a picture, unlike in Brisbane, where you can do so for a price. Overall, we really enjoyed the Featherdale Wildlife Park even though we had previously had similar tour in Brisbane.
The journey to Katoomba was enjoyable with nice scenary. The famous Three Sisters rock formation was breathtaking. We wished there was more time there though. We would have walked a lot more to sightseeing or getting closer to the Three Sisters.
Notes: Bus tour directors provided great comments on both days on bus only. They, however, didn't accompany travelers on sites. Just so you can set your expectations. This is why I can't rate 5-star.Reviewed by: phamdinhnguyen, November 2013
Good tour, but the voucher don't have information when I booking ex: where I chose to pick up because I forgot which trip I chose hotel or CBD point. I have to call for confirmation both. This combo is a simple and not include many options which we need to buy ex: ticket for the Scenic Cableway in Blue Mountains trip.Reviewed by: Pan, Thailand, August 2013
good trip. spend a long time on the bus on the blue mountains tour.Reviewed by: Eric Z, August 2013
The city tour was very good - right amount of time at each attraction and informative. Seafood buffet was excellent and again the commentary very good. The Blue Mountain tour in itself was great but if you didn't pay for the cable rides you would have had nothing to do really at that part of the trip (having already been to The three sisters) - maybe tickets should be included in price. We repeatedly had passengers arriving late back to the bus which meant that we only got to spend 10 minutes at the beautiful village (which we were really looking forward to) in order that passengers didn't miss the ferry back to the city. Very frustrating. Also, perhaps the bus should terminate at the ferry terminal as it took our bus 1.5hrs to get back to our hotel in gridlock traffic. - 7pm instead of 5.45pm.
Overall good value and a great way to see some of Sydneys beautiful landmarks.
We did not receive our confirmation or voucher so did not make the tour. We were still billed, however, which leaves a very bitter taste in our mouth for your company.Reviewed by: Bonnie M, October 2013
