The tour guide was not particularly friendly but very knowledgeable throughout the city tour. Alcatraz was great. The audio guide was very easy to follow and the cruise ship staff very good at organising large numbers of people. Definitely recommend but book early as trips to Alcatraz were booked out for a week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Viator with just one criticism - not enough time on Alcatraz, we would rather have had a shorter City tour instead of having to rush our time on the Island. Overall very good service.

Main reason we booked this tour was to guarantee Alcatraz tickets and to skip the line. Tour allowed this perfectly and Alcatraz didn't disappoint. The city tour was a little confusing as the guide didn't even know why we were stopping at some spots due to the afternoon fog and seemed to skip others by simply driving past. Got to see the sights but not in the depth we would have liked. Guess it gave us a good overview of the city but buses shouldn't stop "because it is a nice cafe".
