You have to make the most out of it in order for it to be worth it, so if you plan your time properly, than this is a great idea. no waiting in lines and most of the attractions already paid for.

The Madrid Card was just not worth it. The only place it helped to skip the queue was at the Prado, but there were only about 15-20 people in the queue anyway

Half the places I went to on the madrid card list (naval museum and others) didn't accept it and charged me anyway. And it only gave basic access to the Prado, had to pay full price for the featured exhibition. Quite useless.
