The Vere valley, surrounded by the medieval Gresigne forest and the "perched" villages, reveals the most "outback" France has to offer. A variety of landscapes, prolific history, friendly inhabitants, proverbial wines and gastronomy.
- Conducted in English
Your first stop is at the village of Bruniquel. Perched on top of a cliff, the village is a fabulous testimony of what medieval villages looked like in the 13th century.
Continue to the second village of Puycelsi, located 20 kilometers away. The village is also perched and offers a typical image of the small authentic French village with its a church and main square where the elderly usually play petanque (similar to boules).
Your tour ends with a wine tasting session in or around Gaillac, one of the oldest vineyards of France.
